Tide:full at 7

Weather:constant rain :cry:

Bait:crab lug and mac

Rigs:pullys 3/0,s

Results:lots of whiting




Report:no codling :lol:
i decided my baits couldnt last the hoards of whiting long enough so put on a whole joey mac after ten minutes i reeled in to find a scull left they had even sucked its eyes out they are truly the peirrana of the east coast :lol: i,m wondering are they eating the cod too :lol:

Same story with me last night in greystones too big baits striped in mins. Did get one codling the bait must have landed on his head because he took the bait before i go the rod in the rest
species 2010 whiting, codling, coalfish, flounder, short spined sea scorpion, , pouting,
3 bearded rockling, 5bearded rockling, dab, bass, LSD, thornback ray, shanny, turbot, corkwing wrasse, ballan wrasse,pollack, plaice, silver eel, smoothound, weaver, tope, bullhuss, launce,shore rockling, conger

lots of whiting is better than the blank but they do pee you off after a while

any ideas on what feeds on the shoals of whiting???????????
