just wondering if anybody knows where i could pickup some cannonball leads in 8/10oz size.i am looking for a good amount.or if somebody has a mould for sale or loan it would be of great help.

That link's from another poster on the Shore Forum, I noticed a ball mould in there somewhere.

I love pouring hot lead and making my own weights, but do you mind sharing with us all why you need a load of Cannonballs? (You're not about to start a war or anything, are you? :shock: )

(btw folks, I also spotted a lovely Morrum SX7700CL, a tidy TLD 5 and an equally tidy TLD 10 currently on ebay. Nice!)

The fishing shop in Portrush is now a Do-It mold stockist - u'll get a cannonball lead mould there - about £35 I would reckon.

yeah, he is, dougie long - flying tackle portrush main street. i know he sells the 8 and 10 oz balls anyhow.
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

yes he does but if you have a look on e bay you may pick one up cheaper .
