Report:first 3 casts i had the fish then not a tap after it i was a bit disappointed after such a good start but overall cant complain fish of about 3 pounds.moved to ferrypoint after high tide and first cast must have easily had 4 stone of weed so went home.when gutting the fish they were stuffed with sandeels anyone ever spin for cod around that area i often thought of it but never got round to it or got brave enough

Yeah was plenty weed last night, me and few others were at Green Park last night, 5-6 of us, everyone got about 2 cods, biggest 3.2lb, my biggest 2.6.

Looks like weed is our "friend" recently and keeps coming in öpö

strangely enough where i started there was very little weed i got some shock at ferry point. i see 4 or 5 cars at the quays . that effin south east wind last month have most places rotten the beaches are only coming right now
