bundoran beach 20/11/11

#1 Post by grady »

People:me other couple

Duration:noon till dark

Tide:droping

Weather:cloudy but dry, southish wind

Bait:lug, mac, sandeel, squid, crab

Rigs:pulley, 2-3 hook flapper

Results: flounders, small turbot

Report:
went bundoran (tullan strand) for afternoon in sundey, weather was better that we expect, good enough for flaties
first cast i start with double shot of flounders, and second cast brought one more for me
another couple managed few flats and wee turbot after me
then fishing went dead for a few hours, well i believe due to droping tide
actualy i.havn't cought nothing more untill dark
and then rock and roll flounder after flounder in dark and almost low tide, but that goodness never lasts for long, i had to go at work early in the morning, so couldn't stay to long maybe for a 40min or so
and that is very very short time, i wish that time flys that quick at work as it fly at session :)
so we packed up on the best fishing in all session, what can you do :?:
can't wait for next weekend, will have a long one so will head up towards west donegal, want to try some great beaches in this time of the year
