I am from the cork area and was looking for a club that might fish some of there comps outside the weekend .

You could try Foxford Angling Club. Contact Tiernans Fishing tackle shop in Foxford for details.
2009 species: thornback ray, pollack, coalfish, red gurnard, ballan wrasse, cuckoo wrasse, garfish, whiting, lsd, bull huss, flounder, pouting.

You could try reading the mans post. I think Mayo might be a bit far from cork for a club comp.

Its a crackin drive though
4 and a half hours if I remember correctly. Some fantastic salmon fishing too
