Not a sign of one down these parts or at least I haven't heard of one.
Any chance of all members posting here on the Dogfish they are catching so as to build up an over all picture of when and where they start to be caught around the coast.

I've had dogs all year from the east coast on tope baits i.e. whiting flappers. In the early part of the year, they were not taking normal baits like sandeel but were very content to sit and shovel a whole fish down. If you missed the cursory nod on the rod tip, they would give no other indication of being present. It seemed they were not feeding freely but were just too greedy to pass up on such a large offering.
