some news about FN anglers issue

#1 Post by grady »

Hi lads, i have read PETES post about FN anglers issue in ireland for a few times and and just couldn't sit still, becouse it's hurts so much, and this is a real problem indeed, and not only for a peoples, but for a mother nature too, that we only taking of her and not paying back what we supose to do or atleast respect her
im one of non-irish nationality anglers in your country as there is more in this site and outside aswell, so we posting our reports and shearing our experiance with you and we playing by rules, but loads of peoples doesn't, and this is sad for any angler even not irish who does care and respect country where they residenting, it's culture and peoples
in this case i'v contact lithuanian most popular news paper in ireland , i'v wrote an article and send to the editor, this is a story about existing situation in fishing world
Lessons from this story that says that we have a problem that people do not respect nature and its resources, i'v mentioned a few facts from your posts that people should understand how important this is not only for anglers, but for mother nature herself
im sure that loads of peoples will read this message and that will make sence

so editor of the news paper agreed with that and the post will be issued in couple of weeks time
so only that much i can do for now to put peoples on the right way
i don't have an access to other countrys news agents, but may they also will respond in the future

well done grady this will help with educating your countrymen .if only we had some other nationalities to do some thing simular.ie polish, romanian, russian, and it could help them realise why anglers get so angry with them, when they see them keeping baby fish

Fair plays Grady, like i said in petes post, my wife is russian and even she is peeved off with it. Well done on getting it highlighted in a paper, the more this is talked about the better, because this is not about racism, its about the future of fish stocks, especially slow growing and territorial fish.
Good things come to those who bait.

well there is latvian and polish news papers in ireland but where to get someone who could contact them couse if i did this that could prvocate a conflict i mean why lithuanian person telling someone else to do something or not to do or may be im wrong but in fact all countrys should do by own iniciative becouse all of them are involve in this i think

Credit where credit is due Grady, very decent of you.As you said you have sent your concerns to the paper of your nationality, now what would really be great would be say the other anglers of differant nationalities that use this website regularly would do the same as it would be really appreciated by all anglers of all nationalities that fish around the waters of ireland.
Once again thanks Grady.
