.Ballyquin fished very well in the days after last weeks southerly winds, plenty of coddling, and painted rays on sandeel eather side of lw. bass on the flood and for 1 hr after hW.
Dungarvan bay, plenty of bass, mostly 2/3lb.catches of 15/20 from the point of cunnigar on lures and metal fish es at all stages of tide. Some fine fish in the lagoon at quanns and at the abbey on peeler at lw.
Fished a new method at helvic last 4 days for 1 hour each day, first day 5 casts 2 bass and missed 3, day 2, 5 casts 4 bass lost 1 at foot.., day 3, 5 casts 2 bass 1 do. day 4, 3 casts 1 bass lost 1 missed1, over the 4 sessions there was prob a total of 50+ other anglers fishin there not 1 of em got a fish......the reef is only 150/200 meters long, fish avg 4.5/5lb best 7lb.
