greys grx s

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

greys grx s

#1 Post by Preston »

The missus decided to treat me today so went out to the half way angling centre and she bought me the grx s . It looks a great bit of kit with a decent backbone . Have to say the shop itself has a fantastic range of rods and at fantastic prices. I never got the owners name but he was very helpfull and gave great honest advice. I will definitely be back to the store again .

How does she cast? And what's the bite detection like? And is the reel seat good and tight? And is it light to hold surf fishing for bass? And whats it like for match or flounder fishing?

I've only just picked it up so can't comment on its bite detection but it feels light enough to hold. The real seat is sliding and locks down nicely . Nice grippy butt section. I'd say it'll cast well as the but section is nice and stiff. I won't be using it this week as I'll have to get a suitable multi to match

I definitely agree , Ive had on two outings and found it compressed well and gave good distance. I also found it very comfortable to use and bite detection was great. I had it paired to an abu sportsmag but I'm going to get a premium mag and pair the sportsmag with my daiwa meanstreak .I was amazed at the quality for what i payed
