Report:
Have been not happy with the usual marks this year and really wanted to give them a try again this weekend but because of how bad it has been i was thinking towards more of my winter marks and to get charlotte fishing in places she does well on.
I was about to drive to a winter location and Charlotte wanted to fish somewhere else that we fished last year. So being the nice Dad that i am went to our flattie mark and god was i very surprised with a wrasse first cast then started to hit double wrasse and coalies then double dogs? it was crazy and using my century sre and bb it was bouncing everywhere with wrasse hitting all the time.
As i said this is my winter mark and its good for flatties and was wondering where they were and out the blew, what i thought was another good wrasse turned out to be a personal best Flounder over here of 2.6lb beating my 2.5lb plaice from Ballintoy.
All fish returned to fight another day
