that wicklow beach again! 25sept

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

People:me

Duration:7.30 till 10.30

Tide:yip

Weather:very nice thanks

Bait:crab

Rigs:two hook flaps 4/0 kamazans

Results:some nice coalies and a few schoolies

Report:with the southerly wind showing signs of easing and peelers poppin in my fridge i decided to have a crack at the bass as smoothies are getting thin on the ground, schoolie first cast followed by savage attacks from rampaging coalies all mid thirties with the odd bass managing to push the coalies out of the way for a munch on my peelers 8) a lot of weed around but not enough to put me off when i,m catching

Nice result. Well done. When does a bass stop being a schoolie in Wicklow. That last one must be over 50 cm :) .
