Findlater/Caherciveen

#1 Post by PaddyB »

The weather looks nasty for the findlater next weekend, with strong westerly or south westerly winds forecast.
Is there any shelter to be had in those conditions out of Caherciveen?

Cheers
Paddy

A nice mark in there that turned up plenty of haddock and whiting also a nice little reef that produced pollack, cod and wrasse. 8)
The trebles of dabs can be a bit annoying.  We tried our best this year at the Rosies comp to get a treble of thornies but the best we could manage was only a couple of doubles   .
I won’t say nothing about the dogs except the dabs and the thornies beat them to the hooks most of the time.
