Friday 16th september beach 1 (ME) = 3 COALLIES, 2 DABS, 1 PLAICE
NEIL= 4 COALLIES 1 DAB, 2 FLOUNDER

Saterday 17th september beach 2 (ME)= 5 coallies 1 flounder and 1 big doggie 2lb 12oz
(NEIL)= 2 coallies 1 dab 2 doggies

friday night my brother rang me and asked me was i up for a weekends fishing, i watched the weather earlier that day and it wasnt good but the rain and wind dosnt stop me from goin and enjoying a weekends fishing. we decided to hit the beach abit of a change from all the rock marks we fished all year, plus it was a chance to try out my new rod TFGEAR FORCE 8 BEACH 15" F/S



we got too our first mark, we wernt expecting much cause of the strong winds and rain but we were very suprised in wat we caught. the coallies started biting first to rag and makerel cocktails then i got a few dab and the brother was into a few coallies aswell. i decided to change rig and bait then i got a hit it was a plaice 1 of my target speicies this year but i never got 1 till now. it was small but still enjoyed catching 1. the doggie came to a mackerel flapper i think it was the biggest dog ive ever caught first i thought it was a huss but then i checked a nd it was indeed a lsd. great night fishing with my new rod IT TOOK ME A WHILE TOO GET USED TO IT BUT ONCE I DID IT CAST LIKE A DREAM.

2nd night we headed to a diffrent beah and it fished mostly the same as the first night it was slow at the start for abot an hour then the bites started. another great nite fishing with a good haul of fish.

all and all great weekends fishing and great craic despite the weather being auwful, heres a few pics

Thanks The new rod is excellent nicki. Plenty of oomph with it. Its that new nano tech its very light but has the same strengh as a normal rod. It was designed by sea angler magazines AlanYates, so its a very good rod. It was the same price range as the sonik sk4, id a bit of trouble deciding which 1 to go for but i think i made the right choice.
