Duration:6hrs to high water
Tide:Flooding
Weather:Increasingly windy and wet.
Bait:Lug, squid, sandeel
Rigs:Three hook flapper over the sand, single hook paternoster in the rough.
Results:3 ballan wrasse to 2lb 4oz, 5 corkwing wrasse,4 pouting (v. small), 1 plaice(23cm) and 1 flounder(27cm).
Report:
First shore trip in a long time, all the fish came to the lug. The pouting were tiny, in fact one was a PW. The wrasse went off the feed as the light failed and were replaced by the pouting.
