Service parts for a 1966 Johnson Sea Horse 3 hp??

#1 Post by Bofs »

I`ve got an old Johnson Sea Horse 3 HP outboard that I`m servicing, it was running nicely over 10 years ago, when a friend of mine had it, but now has no spark.
It needs coils,condensors and points.
Is there anywhere in Ireland/UK that can supply these parts?

Scrap it, or use it as an Anchor.... At that age and the fact it hasn't been used in some time it is likely to give you more problems. If for nostalgic reason you insist on bringing back to life, you might as well pick up a head gasket set while you online and buying from the USA. That will be next to go... For all the money and hours you will spend, you might be better off picking up a more recent engine of the same size.

Best of luck,

Kev

:D Cheers Kev, I plan on getting it going again and using it. I`ll order a head gasket too. It`s the same age as me and I`m doing ok so far
