How are ya dinger,
Its all dogs with huss and ray thrown in for good measure! From that you'd think its a heavy ground beach, but its not (Gurteen Im talking about). Mostly clean enough with the ray well within casting distance at low tide and obviously further out as the tide pushes you back. I presume your fishing the youths comp there and if so good luck with it. You shouldnt loose much gear at all, unless you get a woefull peg. Hope this helps. If theres anything else send me a pm, have fished the odd comp here meself.

Should be good. The problem with gurteen is it can produce a huge amount of fish one week and absolutely nothing the next. It gets trawled a bit from what ive heard.
