Mackerel in cork

Hi does anyone know if there is any mackerel around in cork.
Trying to stock up for the winter.

was passin through kinsale and seen two caught as i drove from the bridge to the town.I never seen so many people fishing there before , every little pier was jammed and all in front of the trident
2013 species : coalies,flounder(pb),whiting,dogfish,5 beard rockling
2012 species : cod,whiting,coalies;flounder,5 beard rockling,bass,dogfish,dab

fished cobh and it was quiet enough with only a few mackeral being caught . I caught one with the advice and bait from a member of the site :) I never got your name but thanks a mil

you must not come into kinsale alot in the summer lol it always packed on the bridge and the little piers :)
2011 species: pollock,mackeral,coalfish,whiting,codling,conger,flounder,dogfish,pouting.Not bad for my first few months fishing :)

2012 species: Coalfish (13), Bass (1), Rockling (5), Ballan wrasse (2), Pollock (57), Dogfish (8),
Whiting (1), Conger (1)

you must not come into kinsale alot in the summer lol it always packed on the bridge and the little piers :)

I'd be in bout three times a week for the last five years :) That evening was just manic. I had a house rented last year for august and there were a good few fishing but no comparasin at all
