Just bought myself a shiny new tripod I seen a couple today and the two that stood out were the shakespeare salt and the daiwa . Went for the daiwa as the shakespear was 86 euro and the daiwa was 49 . I thought i got a bargain till I looked up the reviews on here lol I'm off to give it an outing now , Will update later !

just back from a good session and the tripod I'm glad to say was worth every penny. There was a strong onshore wind blowing and it didn't budge. It's a good solid piece of kit and very quick to erect and comes with its own bag .

Preston the friend and myself have being using this tripod for the last 3 to 4 years and have never had an ounce of bother, packs down neatly as well, well worth the bobs
