left a house friday evening and hit a road for a long almost 3 hours jorney to the conger mark, well itsn't a nearest one ,but one of the best in my knowlidge, for sure there is a loads of marks where congers are possible, but in this one they coming in numbers.
lads who i fished with recon that this session wasn't a best so far, they had far better days when congers are more active and lots bigger in size

nice one grady. well done on the PB man 8) 8) sadly a lot of our good conger marks have got hammered over the last few summers by groups of lads who kill and take every conger they get  needless to say we keep the marks to ourselves now  . it's the only way man

grady,

Firstly let me commend your perseverance - 3 hours is a long journey. I have to drive about an hour to mine and think that's long. One of the previous posters hit the nail on the head about people killing them. Good congers take literally years to grow to a decent size and 'certain groups' seem to kill em all.

I recently took my personal best from the shore at about 22lbs. My wife now wants me to become a 'normal' fisherman again:)

Good work...:)
