New Tip tornado sport or old Tip tornado sport

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

I have both rods and in terms of casting have found no difference. On a plus side, the " gripped" finish ( on the newer version) above/below the spigot makes seperating the sections a lot easier. On a negative I had to change the reel seat because it was too tight for the penns I usually fish with. Though these are really only picky differences.

personally didnt like the newer one , found it hard to get used to casting and if your casting isnt smooth it can bite back through the cast,

Personally I love my old tip-tornado sport and no matter how many times I pick up the new one, I cant see any reason to replace it other than for asthetics and the spigot grips. Old one all the way for me :)
