KERRY SEA ANGLING CLUB

I have passed all the corispondance from the IFSA onto DSULL as I am leaving the angling scene for a while. The plan is to have Kerry Sac affiliated to the IFSA and ready for kick off in January 2012.

I have quite a few people interested including 6 people from the Brandon bay area and other individuals. There were also a lot of Tralee Bay Sac members who expressed their interest in joining the club.

What I reccommend is a meeting be called this month at a venue in Tralee where all interested parties can give their views . Now is the time to start. The demand is definately their for an angling club in Kerry. The ball is in your court now.

Please use this thread to get a meeting organised for this month and for individuals to express their interest.

The opportunity is there for Kerry Sac, notifications have been sent out to the local clubs to see if they had any objections and they were none. Its up to those who are interested to organise themselves.

With Tralee Bay Sac getting steadily pulled in many non angling directions there are definately a lot of anglers looking for a club in Kerry that is just about the angling and meeting its members needs.

There is 4 or 5 of us interested, let me know where and when the meeting is and we will be there.

i will be talking to a few of the lads this week and will try to arange a meeting in the next month as there is no point starting a club this late in the year. the plan is to start in jan 2012. ill keep everyone up to date as soon as i have some news
