Rottom Bottom Clips?

Ok lads, Bought some 'Rotters' for making Rigs for heavy ground traces..

Now how the heck do you use them? lol :lol:

Mustad Rotton Bottom Clips lads.

I have a feeling you tie a weak link of mono to the weight and the top of the clip Then hang the weight on the U of the clip... Just making sure I got it right lads..

Hi K2,

Yes, thats how they work, just be careful not to bounce the weight out during your cast. Used to use these but stick to the Gemini ones now as think they are safer plus you can just clip them onto the bottom of any rig and use it in rough ground - saves on tying dedicated rigs.

Havent seen the mustad ones meself but that sounds about right for other versions

id agree with lee on this one k2, many makes of rotten bottoms will do if you are not casting far out but with the gemini u can lob or power cast with them. a bit more expensive i know but thats a few pence for extra safety?
