ack ack ack.

Had a sea trout hit, jump and spit the lure on me today, in front of a couple of dozen people watching. Lovely fish, i'd estimate 3 lbs or so.

The shame..... :oops:

Still, now I know they like the looks of that yo-zuri.

No shame in that Tanglerat, a guy recently said to me, a Co Down man I met on a mark up here, "if sea trout werent called sea trout they should be called Houdini trout."

2013 Sea Species:- Bass, Flounder, 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Whiting, red gurnard, grey gurnard, Pollack, coley, mackerel, sea trout, cant remember cos I didn't update at the time.....
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.
2011 Sea species:- codling, L.S. dogfish, coley, whiting, pollack(4lb 3oz), sea trout, shore conger eel (15lb), ballan wrasse, grey gurnard, plaice, dab (and lobster).

Hard Luck, still its a great buzz when any fish shows an interest in your presentation and gets the adrenaline going :D

Well, this happened in front of a Friary with a bunch of nuns and friars within earshot....... :oops:

Haha, but I wouldn't be too worried about hurting their sensibilities, they surely have witnessed worse before, according to the media that is :wink:
