Report:
We arrived at the mark at 8 o clock equipped with our spinning rods n i decided to give the rag a go while Conor put on a spinner.. straight away i was into a small wrasse.. delighted... after several changes of spinner n several lost to the rocks conor was into a small pollack.. i got three more pollack after that all around the same size... then i got a big bang on the rod.. god them wrasse fight hard when hey r a bit bigger.. my PB wrasse was landed.. made my night.. had one more small one after that n conor got into another pollack that was a bit bigger than the others as the darkness set in.. a decent nights fishing we felt.. made up for all the blanks lately

gotta love the fighting abilities of the ballan wrasse. pound for pound, one of the best fighting fish for their size available in our waters
