excellent rod at a nice price ideal for match fishing with 4/5oz leads with a good back bone as well and ultra light...

Hi Zeke, have one and have no complaints, can launch leads and has good bite detection, a good buy :wink:
Speices 2011 : Codling, Whiting, Bass, Flounder, Ray, Dogfish, Turbot

Speices 2012 : codling, Bass (pb), Flounder

Speices 2013 : Codling, thornie, Bass, whiting, coalie, flounder,dogfish,painted ray, Sea trout, Turbot

Species 2014 : Codling, thornie, turbot, flounder

2011 PB List - Ray 7lb
2012 PB List - Bass 11lb
2013 PB List - Painted Ray 10.5lb, 1lb 3b rockling, 10lb Thornback Ray, 1lb Sea Trout

I have had one for 2 years, no complaints at all. Use it for slightly heavier applications. Good sensitive tip, casts best with 5oz. Finish is still pristine after 2 years, on offer on some of the websites at the moment, though personally I like to support the local dealers, might do you a deal if you wave the greenbacks!!

a fine clean beach rod, with greys quality and good bite registration. It can cast reasonably well, overall for the money/quality/performance/warantee i dont think you could find much better than greys rod's. There are better rods but most are more expensive.

any body have a top section of a greys travel rod 30 to 50lbs i snapped mine on a recent trip to norway and even though it has a life time warranty i could by a new rod for the cost of a replacement top section,so much for there warranty


found this quote in the for sale section :roll: maybe that warranty isnt quite all its made out to be??

i was smashing out feathers with gordys greys bass rod and its a nice bit of kit but i wouldnt buy any rod just because its got a lifetime warranty i,d buy it cos its what i,m after at the right price :P
