Weather:perfect at first got windier all the time

Bait:rasor

Rigs:two hook flapper

Results:1lb schoolie





Report:got the bass on first cast,missed two other good rattles the joys of being a smoker,but they looked like the first fishes bite,so I didnt miss a clonker I hope !,didnt take a photo cause I was up past me wotsits and we all know what a schoolie looks like

Cheers kgarr ,its was good to see a few about,i think ill spin ut next time loads of sand eels about and a few fish taking em dont know if they were bass or seatrout thou

was spinning the Boyne yesterday Eoghan, it was full of sandeel and there was sea-trout jumping non-stop, didn't catch any though, then niether did any of the other 13! anglers who showed up after me! One guy did catch a Mackerel on the fly though :mrgreen: will lure fish laytown Monday/Tuesday, your report has given me heart!

Two foot waves for bout 100 meters,got weedy as the tide pushed in so packed it in then
