wicklow beach 7/7/11

:D People:me

Duration:5to 7.30 pm

Tide:falling

Weather:dry and southerly wind

Bait:lug

Rigs:1 hook flap and 4/0 hooks

Results:

2 schoolies 38 and 40 cm and 3 bass 45 /48 and 58 cm 2 flounder small

the weed was still a problem like the last couple of night but well fishable. first 3 casts resulted in 2 bass :P and in the
next 1 1/2 hrs 2 more bass and saved best till last a nice fish of 58cm it was a great little session short and very sweet :D :D

GREAT to see that we still have some bass on the eastcoast :P :P

Well done Gerry, you were right in your assessment and got everything spot on :wink: Wish I couldve been there today :evil:

nice :lol: would have gone with you but no bait, got bored at 9 so dug lug for weekend. got some schooly lug 4 cms and lots of big ones 9 to 10 cms, am i going mad or what :?:

Well done, great result for a 2.5 hour session and in daylight too!!
Cod season Winter 2013/14: 117 cod (best fish: 6.5 lbs)

Good man Gerry there was no walking in off the beach and throwing the clubs (rods)in the boot!Fair play and hopfully will have a run of them :wink:
