when to shore fish for conger?

can u shore fish for conger all year or is it just during the summer?

you can fish for conger all year round the hunt at night thats the best time.
sometimes they feed daylight but they dont move around then they lazy around and wait for food come to them.
thats what i learn i hope this helps.

summer seams best especally round harbors were they are atracted in by fish scraps iv only cought congers in the winter from very deap marks in clare

in my limited experience with conger they can be caught all year round but if you want guaranteed good congering find a rock mark that's plagued with mackerel bashers in summer and fish here. the heads and guts put back brings some good size eels in after dark. The last one i had this way was not weighed but i recon it was in the high 20s.
