dublin pollock on lures

#1 Post by daveyboy »

hi all, any tips on where is good for lure fishing for pollock around Dublin/louth/meath/wicklow? I've heard the back of the east pier in Dun Laoghaire is good. Any other spots? I like spinning and plugging but as Bass can be hard to come by I was thinking of turning my attention to pollock a bit. Any tips appreciated.

You might get a few around the rocks in howth or the rocks around dalky. Generally the pollack around dublin and most of the east coast are small fish 2-3lb being good fish. Id head for the monsters on the weast coast!!
