poor cod as bait

Has anyone used or ever heard of anyone using these as bait if they can be used whats the best rig to use them and what fish will take them

We use them regularly for conger bait ,they work brilliantly when freshly caught .

Used them on a 7/0 to wire trace in hope of conger at The Bridges last year, ended up being swallowed by a 3 bearded Rockling of about 1 1/2lbs...
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial :D

had a strap conger on one before.
apparently they do work really really well for them from the shore
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!
