Well done lads great result 8). Also well done to Dave who finished 4th out of 106 anglers in the Welsh open the following day.

Thanks lads.

Myself and Mul got home at 09:00 this morning so you can imagine the tiredness. :(

We practiced the venue on friday and had a mixture of flounder,eels and small whiting with also quiet a lot of sole caught.(although I didnt get any all weekend) Maddies seemed to be the best bait for most of the species and crab for the eels.

The final itself turned out to be very slow fishing, with an average of maybe 2 fish per angler. The winner on the high peg really walked away with it catching a big bag of eels with a few flouder to more than double the next anglers score.

thanks a mil for all the support lads,it turned out to be very close with one more fish for any of the three of us would of given us second or third overall .hopefully there will be a few more irish lads qualifying for the penn final in the future
hope jp isn't too skint for the week after loosing a sole ten euros
