People:me and trojan

Duration:6.45 till 11 pm

Tide:dropping

Weather:dry with a brisk southerly

Bait:crab rag mack

Rigs:pullys and cascade

Results: 3whiting, 4 dogs ,3dab,3 pup hounds and 2 pup tope




Report:robbie and dave had been down anny north for a few hours in the afternoon without a bite on arrival at the southern end i met them in the carpark,dave had had enough his belly was rumblin so he headed home for his dinner :lol: he,s a growing lad :lol: myself and trojan set up with the wind howling in our right eardrums ,only one dab and one pup smoothy till dusk ,the wind just dropped and the sea flattened off nicely for the last few hours with the dogs savaging sandeel baits at distance and a few welcome pup tope showing up tp add to the mix ,conditions for bass where perfect and only for it still being that time of the month i wouldnt have even been on annyreilly :lol: still i got a few fish and went home happy enough 8) (trojan lasted till 10.30 before his belly and the thoughts of a chicken and blackbean and fried rice got the better of him :lol: )
few pics later if it stops raining and i get my gear outta the boot :wink:

their was a comp set up on the south beach anyone on here fish it?anything decent got??would love to know :mrgreen:

Hey roger very similar nite to mine great fun tho only a stones throw away. my helpers wanted McDonalds :roll:

Was on the way to Annie Roilley meself Roger ,,,,,, but I stopped off in Greystunes on the way and ended up staying there :roll: . Nice results for a few hours :wink: . Get an umbrella and clean out the boot cos its not going to stop raining today :roll:

nice one rodger,few different species aswell.Dont think ill be catching much tope or smoothies down south though :(

Man that chinese was super! the sea air can realy put a hunger on you.Always good to catch a few fish even if a pibald pony tried to mount my car on the way home :(

The big lads cant be too far away now roger, and the clock's ticking on the silvers :D

Nice fishing Roger, you had better luck than me and my mate.

I was up on the north beach up where the nudist bit is! What a walk that is, we ended up with a few doggy's and a few whiting! Was deff not worth the walk we done! Didn't even get any pups which was a surprise seeing as every weekend for the past 8 weeks I've had at least a few pups. There was a comp on on the north beach to, I don't think they wer catching much either!
Species 2011:coalie,whiting, 5bearded rockling,shore rockling, doggie, pollock,flounder,codling,dab,smoothhound,sea scorpion,ballan wrasse,Tope, tub gurnard, gray gurnard,plaice,bass,Bullhuss,cod

Species 2012:coalie,doggie,codling,shore and 5bearded rockling,3bearded rockling,pouting,whiting,wrasse,bass,plaice,flounder,dab,smoothhound,hiss,tope,cod,tub and gray gurnard,Pollack

Species 2013:Double figure smoothy off the beach,doggie,gray gurnard,codling,goalie,flounder,plaice,whiting,tope. Double figure huss off the beach,dab, bass,pouting,silver eel.

thanks knightser i was wondering was i in the wrong spot :lol: had visions of 7lb hounds getting dragged up the beach :lol: wishfull thinking :mrgreen:
