Late 80s 6hp evinrude

Lads have this engine and is not sucking water but found that it's the pipe coming from impeller is broken where it joins into the leg just under main body seems the cast split and broke off any ideas if could be fixed it's a great engine otherwise

Not sure.
Maybe have a look at this post and see if JB Weld might help.

maybe jb weld could sort my problems i wont be able get pic up till after weekend boat is at the coast.... does jb weld take well to heat this problem is high up nearly where it power head joins to leg
