i think i,ll be exploring gimp alot more amazing results with a bit of practice

color popping works well in some things
I use it with some of my wedding albums
it's not everyone's cup of tea but in the right situation it's perfect

Nice pic Roger, just wondering how you do the colourization. Is it done in Photoshop or another system???? I have done a module in college recently on Digital Photography but we never covered colourization

There's a free programme you can use called gimp..if you put it into google you should be able to find it. It has alot of the same features of photoshop. I would put in gimp + photography into google when searching for it for obvious reasons
There's a colourisation option which basically turns the picture into b+w and you then use a brush to select which portions you want coloured
Very easy to do too and looks cool...as roger has demonstrated
