Dalkey Rocks

People: Me

Duration: 10-2

Tide: 12ish

Weather: hopping

Bait: rag lures

Rigs: single hook 1/0

Results: 2 Wrasse i small Pollock




Report:
Went out for a few hours today to Dalkey hoping for some nice Pollock and wrasse. I lost a few nice fish and rigs :oops: eventually had a nice 40cm Wrasse
followed by another smaller one and a small Pollock. I spend the rest of the time spinning no joy still good to out on a nice Summers day. 8)

Nice wrasse. No sign of any macks yet?

That's a fine wrasse 8) & great weather for it, the big wrasse seem to be giving me the slip this year but I will nail one yet :wink:

The rocks where i fish is not really a Mack mark more Pollock and Wrasse, only seen one bloke fishing at the harbor for mack.

some markings on them wrasse, used to luv fishing around dalkey back in the day 8)
