Specimen Dab - Cork harbour

The harbour has been fishing well in recent months.
Had this fella back end of october.
Weighed in at .700 kg and was almost 41cm.
Taken from the boat on a sliver of mackerel.

Crackin dab. Well done.
Species 2014: whiting, coalie, pouting, codling, pollack, ballan wrasse, dab, poor cod, mackerel, grey gurnard, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse, launce, common skate, bass, scad, garfish, blue shark

Species 2015: Ballan wrasse, poor cod, pollack, ling, flounder, turbot, mackerel, whiting, lsd, dab, grey gurnard, pouting, cuckoo wrasse, cod

cracking fish - get excited at one over 30 - over 40cm something else!

Cracking fish Jim, got your seat booked at the speci awards for another year.
If someone shows you a mark to fish, respect it and dont pass it of as one of your own, dont tell every man and his dog about it.
