Plaice on Banks.

What time of year do the Plaice usually move onto the Sandbanks? Thinking of Targetting them this year while on the North Coast..

Can not speak of any experience up north but on the sandbanks here you will find them in March, later is the weather is bad. What I have found is that they seem to move into mussel bed areas much earlier although these are smaller fish and the ground is a b@£$r to fish. Prefer sand.
