the drive down could be interesting ,you still have a bit of a walk though ,at least you'd miss the walk back up the hill ,it's a real killer after fishing all day .
oh arse.... and there was me hoping k2 was going to pay me to transport his sandwiches and coke ...could have brought the trailer and got them all on in one go
Can I not just bring the boat round from Fahan ?

lazy carp angling
yeah Lee , carp angling requires patience , skill , and more than just a little knowledge of the species and their feeding habits and as far as the rigs and tackle goes its very similar to beach fishing which in many ways is just like quiver tipping on a grand scale and with much less finnese.......you should try it sometime , carp angling that is !
you never know , you might even like it !

Most fish caught on sandeel ,caught a couple early in day on the bottom gear meant for doggies ,then tide picked up and bottom fishing was waste of time and gear ,fished with bass rod for the rest of the day spinning sandeel on a 2 foot leader behind a 2oz drilled bullet ,seemed to do the trick ,smallest fish was about 1lb ,davy got smashed up by 2 cracking fish that just hit and took of, funny seeing the wee man nearly getting pulled of his perch  [/img]
