fished for 2hours with 2 rods out. very little activity but managed 2 small plaice and a small codling in the end. mate caught nowt. tried in around the edge of the rocks below me with a float in the hope of a wrasse or two but no interest there at all - i was surprised as usually guarnateed wrasse at this spot. maybe just a bit early as yet
the area was busy with anglers along the shore further up but ive no idea how they got on - it started raining quite consistently and i ran out of bait so i packed up and hit the road - i didnt get the chance to speak to any of them
a pretty typical session for the mark but i have one more species to add to the list for the year so was reasonably happy..
