for anyone wanting to know what gear to use here is a list
heavy spinning rod or bass rod for pollack,
reel with 20-30lb mono,
heavy beach rod to chuck a bait on the bottom(be prepared to lose gear),
pulley rigs for beach caster(set up with rotten bottoms),
2-3oz leadheads for pollack,
2-3oz bomb weights,
fish baits for bottom gear,
sandeels for pollack(either on leadhead or flowing trace),
thats about all you will need.i`ve never tried for congers jonny, there is a big swell so its dangerous down at the waters edge.i wouldn`t recommend bringing a bucket because you will need a free hand for the climb down to the mark.

Ahhhh but

I was talking to Davy and Ronald in Bangor on Monday night

and it seems that there is a track which would be negoitable by a short wheel base landrover. which leads right down to the bottom.
Now it just so happens that I have a shortwheel base landrover aka b0ogaloos not so big black taxi.

However its only a two seater...... !

So i was thinking about a fair and sporting way to decide who to give a lift to.

And then I thought nah **** it

Bidding is now open

highest bidder wins
