fine fish Ray, i read a post by someone here a while back that the bigger fish dont always give the best fight. they reckoned it was to do with the size of the mouth on them. they came in with their mouths wide open thru the water so it was like a huge drag. kind of makes sence. most of my bigger fish around the 6-7lb(and one 8lb) were the same.

Fine chunky fella there ray, pity he wasn't just over the ten pounds so you could have put that goal to bed, did you try the stones in the mouth method??  just kidding, still its gives you an excuse to keep trying. Hope all is well anyway...
