People:myself & donal

Duration:5pm till 130am

Tide:hw @ 11pm

Weather:overcast

Bait:ragworm

Rigs:

Results:10 fish caught in total, i myself had 2 dog fish and 1 tiny whiting,donal had 7 fish in total 1 starry smoothound,1 common smoothound ,4 dogfish and a small whiting




Report:
neither of us ever came across a starry smoothound so we went home chuffed!

North or south beach what size where the hounds
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

The hounds was at most a 1 lb or so nothing huge but nice to get more species on the list we was only using ragworm as bait maybe nextime we'll use peelers see what happens,we was on the main beach where the carpark is.

well done lads nice session i fished the nth beach on friday night for 6 hours and not even a bite so yous did very well
