I'll be there with at least one other.

Is it worth bringing some bait along if you want to have a chuck into the surf or will the casting take up most of the day? (Be prepared.....)

Marty.

Hi Marty.

It looks like b0ogaloo is picking someone(s) up from Bangor. A PM to him might be useful. I didn't see any plain longtails but McKee's have plain casting weights in various sizes including 150g. Didn't notice the prices though.

Marty if you want a lift up ... pick up point is trap and tackle at 09.30
Look out for one of these with a roofrack

Thanks very much BOogaloo, very decent of you. I will P.M. you nearer the time once I know I dont have any work commitments if thats ok. T&T is nice and easy as I only live along the road, within casting distance really.

Yup. My casting style is already surreal. This'll just weird you out completely. It's all about keeping the fun in fishing and getting back to the way things were in the '60's  (when we still had cod....and mullets )

This is very true, have been fishing for YEARS but you would be amazed at how much you can learn in a very short time from people that REALLY know what they are talking about! Am casting better now than I ever have and cant wait till the next event.

Even a bad days fishing is better than working.
