Results:Me:3 doggies Dad:2 doggies
Me:3 doggies ,1 possible bull huss opinions welcome ,1 pouting
Joe:1 Codling , 1 whiteing

Report:The first session was out on Courtown beach with the aul lad. Got there at around high tide beautiful evening very calm. There were a few lads up from us aswell.Set up the rods and opened up the bait to see the rag I brought with me were all dead  .Bad start ,decided to give it ago any way (thank god for bait thread) .Kept pretty busy for two hours lots of bites.4 of the doggies were on mackeral.

The next morning we decided to give his new Kayak a try out.Jesus it was some laugh.I forgot how much hard work they can be on the water

The second session meself and Joe decided to head to Ennereilly.Unfortunately we took an unwanted detour ended up on a small shingle beach some where in Wicklow  Joe got a few knocks but no takes. Eventually we got to Ennereilly at 11.30pm got set up with in minutes we were getting good bites.Joe took a codling within a few minutes. Then I had 3 doggies and a pouting and I'm not sure on the last one but i think it may be a bull huss it put up a great fight and its colour was slightly different , if any could tell me that would be great.Joes rod took mighty knock it was bouncing in the tripod but it didnt hook. He then took a small whiting which he put back out as bait and it was getting alot of bites but it just wouldnt hook.Great session overall and ill defo be going back. Thanks to Dfella for directions

The last pic is a doggie it's the top two I'm not sure about as for the pouting it could well be a poor cod. I've never caught either before.

definetly poor cod. look out for the micro barbule under the lip and a rounder head than the pouting.
2011: Aims:
1. To discover as many marks as I can.
2. To catch a bass over 5lb on a lure.
3. To stick to, and learn about lure fishing so I can shake off the beginner tag!
