1988 johnson 60 hp no power from battery

i think i messed up my engine earlier today when i forgot to disconnect battery while stripping out my starter solenoid i think{i know} i hit my live lead off the nuetral ive charged battery but not a wag outta it is battery goosed or have ive done more serous damage to power pack please help as i wanna fish!!!!!!!!!!!

You might have fried the solenoid. Use a jump lead to connect the battery positive to the starter for a split second. If the starter jumps they the solenoid is trashed. If you get nothing, borrow the battery from your car and try the same test.

It was the solenoid after all cheap fix thank god roll on weekend we Get fishing
