east Cork 12.04.11.

People: me

Duration: 16:30:00-12:30

Tide: low at 19:00

Weather: nice windy,rain later

Bait:razor

Rigs:2 hook flappers

Results-3 Bass(PB-9lb 4oz :D ),flounders,whitennings

Hit the beach at around 4:30pm,look at the sea nice surf going,bass should be friendly to me today :D ,bait hooks and start fishing,nothing gona happens for a one and a half hour,tryed diferent distances nothing...then sunshain was gone become cloudy and fish starts to show,first was a good size flouder,rebait and cast in abit acros the waves,sit on to a chair light a fag and bang,good strike to the rod,hit and feel thats realy good fish in the end of the line,start reeling in,that fela desided to go across the waves so was folowing him,then went stright to me,thanx gad i get good wave coming to me and i could get fish out of water clouse to me,that was briliant fight...so that was my PB 9lb 4oz bass,after that gote couple more hits and landet in onother bass around 4lb,one bass gone just in 5 meters of me,then was one scoolie,around 9pm everything come down and get only a small flounders and whitenings...

nice when they play ball oli beats waiting 6 hrs for a bite like i did last saturday :oops: great fishing great when you get a good fight off them got 1 last fri night i though my reel was going to brake great report

fantasic size fish to get from the beach, with that other 7lb Rockhunter caught last week. Seems like the bass are eating those greedy flouders that were taking all the bait recently :)

Excellent pics and congrats on the personal best, thats a few folks posting personal bests now and its only the middle of April.. Could be an interesting summer.. :D
