Best quick change thingy for lures

#1 Post by Jayball10 »

Just want to get peoples views on whats the best component to use for quick changing lures. I know a lot of people will say just tie it on but I dont like to loose an inch or two of my fluoro leader everytime I want to change a lure. Ive used the gemini lead links but find they tangle quite a lot on casting. Also used standard snap swivels. Have been looking at the breakaway spinlinks? Would it be possible to use a small split ring? I think they would be the least likely to tangle on casting. Is it necessary to use a swivel at the end of the leader for more movement?

Hi Jayball10 I use these http://www.henrystackleshop.com/product ... ts_id=1433 to connect my lures. They are a bit pricey but they wont tangle when casting.

I use those in size 3 or the Jb clips with the swivel .. they have a slimmer profile and have never had one open.
Everyone should believe in something; I believe I’ll go fishing.
