What are your best hard lures this year?
Ok folks , with the amount and variety of lures available these days what hard lures are people looking at for bass this year? Personally the top five for me are in no particular order..
1. Tide Minnows
2. Feed Shallows
3. Zonk Gaterides
4. Megabass X-140's
5. Komomo 2
I know the list is a bit confined but I use these lures more than others, although I do carry a lot more including a selection of surface lures.. Patchinko, Z claw etc, maybe its the marks I fish, mostly West Waterford .

Re: What are your best hard lures this year?
1. Abu Garcia 28g Silver Toby (with red 'eyes')
2. Feed Shallow
3. Rapala MaxRap
4. Tide Minnow
5. Kilty
A good Toby lure is still my all round favourite lure, mainly due to the number of species it will take. I have had 7 species on Tobies (Mack, Pollock, Coalies, Bass, Launce, Flounder + a Squid!). It has accounted for the majority of lure caught bass I've had up to now.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
Love the quote.... !
Right im printing that off and sticking it on the fridge

Re: What are your best hard lures this year?
I have all the high end jap lures and have caught fish on them nothing this year but last year the lure that caught most bass for me was a lure i got on ebay cant do the link but if you go into ebay and search minnow crankbait sj 125 you will find it. Was brilliant in shallow water lots of bass including a 10lb fish. Cheap as chips and i will be in kerry this weekend and it will be the first lure i put on!
