Back to the point of the thread....As a man who loves nothing more than donning a pair of chesties, and getting out into the breakers, I can thoroughly vouch for the Daiwa STXS bass rod. Absolutely cracking rod mate.

I haven't held one of the newer STS versions, but if it's anything like it's predecesser, then it's a beauty.

Also have a cheaper Shakespeare Odessa Bass, which is good value, and appearance and performance are excellent for the price.
