If you are coming from Armagh, take the M1 into Belfast, get onto the M2 via westlink, get onto M5 and follow signs for Carrickfergus. Go through Carrickfergus and take the road toward Larne. Turn off for Whitehead when you see the signs, the map below should guide you in from there.

About 50 or 60 yrds. Still some rough patches but pretty clean. Used to fish the area in the boat and you would be amazed at how close you are to the shore before snags started showing on the fish finder.
To be honest though, the fish are in the rough stuff.
